ABOUT ME

Who am I?
My name is Joanna. I'm a witch and occultist based in Poland. Creatrix of the Shadow Work October annual challenge, which evolved into Shadow Journeying workbooks and resources over the years. Offline, I'm a psychologist, art therapist, red tent facilitator, autogenic training facilitator and a practitioner in a local coven. Online, I offer resources about Slavic paganism, folk magic and witchcraft, Shadow Journeying, the intersection between trad craft and syncretic European witchcraft, runework, and much more via Patreon. I'm very passionate about what I do and I always strive to integrate both my professional and spiritual callings into a cohesive wholeness.

What can you expect to read on this blog?
I originally created this blog with the intention of sharing my opinions, thought processes, knowledge and other random bits and pieces. Over time, I shifted my focus primarily to Patreon and Instagram, which is why you'll notice a rather lengthy content gap on here. When it comes to my older content, you'll find basic first hand information about Slavic paganism here, some of which was not available elsewhere for the English-speaking audience at the time of posting. Nowadays, I offer much more in-depth content about Slavic paganism and folk magic over on Patreon. Other than that, a substantial part of the blog is shadow work related - you'll find my annual #ShadowWorkOctober resources here, as well as some of my personal processes when it comes to shadow journeying and analysis of the Self in general. I sometimes get very opinionated too, especially when I'm passionate about something, so you might also witness an occasional inspired rant.

How can you help me build this place?
I'd love to eventually come back to posting around here more regularly. Realistically, it will most likely be content recycled from my Patreon, as I'm quite fond of a lot of the articles I published over there. If you'd like to support what I do, please consider supporting me on Patreon as it directly contributes to me being able to take the time to create content for you.

If you would like to pick my brains abous something, invite me to your podcast or otherwise collab with me, feel free to contact me.
